Man, this has been such a crappy week for me. To top it all off I still have no idea for a halloween costume. Anybody have any ideas?

I've hated Nickelback since I first heard them sophomore year in college. Their lyrics lacked any sort of artistic interpretation and the music seemed like it was played by someone's little brother's band auditioning for Battle of the Bands. Well, here's definitive proof of how crappy Nickelback is: Two Nickelback songs playing at the same time! One in the left speaker one in the right (flash required). Its sad how the two songs sync up perfectly! They play at exactly the same speed. All the bridges start at the same. The guitar solos are the same. Heck! They sound good played together because the chords progressions and the key changes are the same!. Yet, this is what gets played on the radio all the time. This is what makes all the money and fill up stadiums. Do yourself a favor. Listen to Musicians. People who can actually write deep lyrics. People who are masters of their instruments. There is good music out there. For example, Andrew Bird is coming to the TLA on May 18th. He is truly a musician. Should be a great show. He's also a good lyricist. Check out this play on words: from Measuring Cups on "The Mysterious Production of Eggs" When you talk about the hand of glory
A tale that's rather grim and gory
Is it just another children's story that's been de-clawed?
When the tales of brothers Grimm and Gorey have been outlawed

I went skiing in Frisco, Colorado with my extended family. We heard of a winter storm coming so we left early and attempted to outrun the storm by heading south. We met Blizzard like conditions as soon as we hit the Colorado, New Mexico border. I have been stuck in Raton, New Mexico for the past couple days because all the roads out are closed. Luckily we got the second to last motel room.
So anyway, this means that I wont make it to any New Years celebrations. Take plenty of pictures for me. Wish I were back in PA. Tue, Sep. 12th, 2006, 10:40 pm Grr...
Whoever gave me this cold, I'm mad at you! Question: Why is everyone's birthday either in August or September?

Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young fucking ROCKED!
Love the One You're With was the encore.
More later, tired now.
Here's what I learned today. If the seller doesn't know how to open the hood of his car (that he's owned for 9 years), you might want to check the oil. ( sigh, car shopping sucks)
Happy New Year 2006 First of all, that was kind of a crazy party last night. I'd like to thank Bill once again for hosting the party. I can't believe how many people showed up. I must say that partying is really fun when people dress up really nice. I hope everyone has an awesome 2006. Second, for any football fans out there: Doug Flutie converted the NFL's first successful drop kick since 1941. I saw a replay of it on the news today. It looked really cool. Lastly, on a sad note. Patrick Cranshaw, better known as "Blue" from the movie Old School died. I saw him at a Philadelphia Wings game a couple years ago. He seemed like a cool guy.
 | You scored as The Amazing Spider-Man. After being bitten by a radioactive spider, Peter Parker was transformed from a nerdy high school student into New York's greatest hero. Peter enjoys the thrill of being a super hero, but he struggles with the burdens of leading a double life. He hopes someday to win the heart of his true love Mary Jane, the woman he's loved since before he even liked girls. Right now, he just wants to make it through college and pay his bills.

Thu, Oct. 27th, 2005, 11:22 am Costuming
So, I need a halloween costume. Anyone have any ideas? I'm thinking about being "The Hatter" from Alice in Wonderland, but I'm not sure if I can pull it off. Anyone want to go costume shopping with me today?
238,856.95 miles. You know what that is? Well, it was traveled by some men on July 20, 1969. Yes, it's the (average) distance from the Earth to the Moon. Also, 238,856.95 miles was a mark recently surpassed by my car yesterday. Yes, my car, in it's short 16 years has traveled the average distance from the Earth to the Moon. Rockin'. Lets hope it can last me a little longer. Other stuff for me is going well too. :-)

Okay, is there any pain that's worse than pulling a Band-Aid off a hairy leg? Sure, I've broken my arm, my thumb, broke my nose, sprained my ankle twice, and got a concussion. But for some reason the thought of ripping off my Band-Aids causes me to shudder. *wonders why girls wax their legs*
I spent the better part of yesterday in the Riddle Memorial Hospital Emergency Room. Yesterday morning, while going for my daily bike ride, I managed to crash my bike, scrape up the right side of my body, and hit my head against something. The hit was so hard it broke my bike helmet. Now, I don't actually remember any of this happening. I'm still trying to figure out how I got home. The last thing I remember, I was on Michigan Ave. in Swarthmore. Then, I kinda remember walking my bike up Martroy Lane behind my house. So, I took this path but I have no memory of it. It really freaks me out, actually. So, I got home, called my mom, and went to my doctor (who sent me to Riddle ER). I have a concussion (and a horrible headache), and lots of "road rashes". The ER doctor who took care of me was also an avid cyclist. He told me that my injury would have been a lot worse without the helmet.

I have an (phone) interview tomorrow. I really wish it was in person (I'm much better with those). Anyway, hopefully this job interview will go over well.
